"The first "Crown Victoria" appeared in 1955; it was a two-door six-seater coupe, part of the Ford Fairlane range. It differed from the regular Victoria model (named after a type of carriage) by having a stainless steel band that 'crowned' the roofline passing right over the car as an extension of the B-pillar line. The model was produced in 1955 and 1956. In 1956, Ford added its Lifeguard safety package." - Wikipedia

Hehe , I like Ford and my first car was an Mondeo RS with Cosworth-engine and now I have a Mustang GT '06 :)

Thanks , I have one more Ford to do later :)

Thread title is Crown Victoria Thunderbird. That's already incorrect. Then you've got pictures of a Ford Fairlane.

So which car are you suggesting?

Plus 1956, but info link is to 1955 Ford wiki page.

The title is right and these pictures are of an Crown Vic '56 which is an Fairlane sister , if you press the link you have the 1956 Fords in that Wiki-page... *sighs*:ouch:;)

Hm , no? I know that I have right, did a large research before I post it. You even has a link to the page (post #5) which I took the pictures from, and you have information about the car on the link on the OP . The 56 Fairlane Crown Vic is a minor update of the one from 1955 , but like I said if you scroll down on the liked Wiki page you will found 1956 ford... Oh, Heavens :ouch:

One more link

Nice big American car, would expect at least a V12 but a V8 is also okidoki!
He he , thanks . Nah, I prefer a V8 before a V12 and I can't remember an American car with a V12? With that said i didn't mean that it newer existed :P
