Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car and Ford GT LM Race Car Spec II

Is there a difference between the two? Aside from the color and the one being a premium car and the one being a prize car? Im talking in terms of handling and performance because Im planning to have them both. Any inputs are appreciated. Thanks. Merry Christmas.

They do handle a bit differently. The Test Car is a bit heavier and the ride height won't go as low as the Race Car.

I used the Ford GT Spec II for the 24h of Nurburgring back in Gran Turismo 4 so it will always be a favorite of mine.

I fell in love with the GT40 when I used it to complete the Seattle Endurance race on GT2. I unlocked the GT90 and then lost it because either the save file was corrupt or there was some glitch with 90 something percent completion? I don't really remember.

What I do remember was trying to jump as high as I could and listening to that machine scream around the stadium. God I loved that track! It was one of my favorites!

They're close enough that it's not really noticeable. It's only about 30kg.

The price for the Test one is quite a bit. But unless you win the Race car, it'll cost you about 2.5 to 3 million in the UCD. I don't remember the exact number.

I personally like the Test better because of the color.

Eh, I like the GT mostly for the looks, but I'm mostly just excited that I don't have to throw out the cash for a good one. Though the premium one has a nicer color I think.

I actually have both cars in question. There is no comparison. The LM Race Car runs 40 sec. American Champ. Indy laps and the Test Car runs low 35 sec. laps. So far the Test Car is the fastest American car around Indy.

I goofed on my times. The Race Car runs Am. Ch. Indy 5 laps at 3:40.XXX. The Test Car runs it at 3:35.3XX.

it seems like you didnt get the answer you were looking for.i too want to know the pros and cons of each of these cars.i'm sure there are quite a few people who own both.any info will help.merry christmas.

Awesome! I used the GT40 for that same race. Loads of memories coming floating back now.
