I def gotta try this out later, this thing is great on daytona with its raw power, but I could never tune it well enough to feel comfortable using it on fiji- or anything with a lotta corners.. I mean this thing can flat out boogie, so I wonder how successful some1 could be if the can master it with a great tune on sometin like fiji. Thanks man, I'll try it out later today

np man, i do get better lap times than with the amuse s2000, but it is also a little harder to drive, that's why i was wondering if some "pro tuners" would check it out to see if they could help me out ;)

Try this;
It may suit you or it may not, but you will have so much speed on the straight you won't believe :sly:

Tyres R1/R2
Weight 85%
Aero - 15/25
Then put up the power to 800PP

Make the gearbox a 4speed, with 1st gear around 100mph. 4th gear around 215mph.

You don't need mega-grip for this car to be fast, but you do need a good balance.
In fact if you have too much front grip, you'll just do donuts all the time.

Wow that's pretty cool, I actually took my m3 and made it a 5 gear instead of 6 and it worked well.. And I think doin that with the ford gt, which already has great acceration, is a really good thing to try out

Desmo is right. The LM car hates R3s. Going R1s or R2s suits this car better. It handles so much better. R3s is too soft for this car, so that's why it's so hard to handle. I've tested this car alot and found out that R1F and R2R is the way to go with 4 gear setup. This car will beat any car if well driven of course!! Hell even the FordGT is an awesome car and very well balanced.

Yea, you know what, I think the r1 tires are suit this car pretty well.. Like you guys said, it'll beat anything if driven well, but not every1 CAN drive it well.. But dam, that things fun 2 drive if you like raw power and choatic driving lol

hey sorry man, i did get slightly better times with it and it definitely was a lot easier to handle. it was a better configuration than what i had, but on Fuji i liked driving it with at least one more gear. i tried making it a 5-gear car, but i didn't get to anything reliable. at the end DC released his own custom tune for the exact same race and it works perfectly, you should check it out.

yea, sorry i didn't keep you informed earlier, i do appreciate the help given. I was able to get 1'35:xxx with the modified setup you gave me (as opposed to 1'36:xxx before. with dc's tune i get 1'34.xxx)

im getting 1:31s with my amuse but still get killed by pep cuting track and not getting penalized wtf and average low 132s im going to try this gt test spec and see whats up
thanx

I had a 1:33.9xx with R3 R3 .. I will definetely try duke's suggestion now. Lets see ..

Thanks for the tip Duke, what was your best time then with that setup?

At 1'31-1'32 is so so very fast even with the GTLM. You are averaging that with the Amuse and still loose? How in the hell is that possible?

Here's my setup for Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car /Fuji 800 (Pro)

Power: 633 CV +5
Wheigt: 990 Kg 85%
Tyres: R1 (both)
Aero: 10 / 24
Heigt: -13 / -11
Spring: 6 / 7
Damper: 4 / 5
Toe: -0.02 / +0.15
Camber: 1.5 / 1.5
Brakes: 8 / 7
Angle: 40
TCS: Off
ABS: 1
Final gear
360 km/h / 4572 (Maybe a bit short?)

Hope you like it. It's a bit diferent than Radese's one, but is still easy to drive, and faster. Maybe slow in turns if you don't take a soft path...
(I use G25 and manual gears, don't know how it works with pad...)

Used a combination of Duke of Pendle's and radese's setups and was able to get a 1:31:757 within the first couple laps... thanks guys!
