Ok, found a solution for this thing. Here's what I have installed:

  • Sport Soft tires
  • Full Racing Suspension
  • Adjustable LSD
  • Close Ratio 5-speed (Racing might be better)
  • Bigger Supercharger
  • Sport Air Filter
  • ECU Tune
  • Full Stage 3 Weight Reduction
  • Chassis Stiffening

Setting based off of Smiley Beat's tune HERE.

Suspension:

Ride Height = -35 / -35
Spring Rate = 10.2 / 6.5
Extension = 3 / 4
Compress. = 4 / 6
Camber = 2.3 / 0.9
Toe = -0.20 / 0.00

LSD = I 9 / A 51 / B 32

Brakes = 5 / 3

This setup was good enough for a 7:41.630 on the Nurburgring, although I could have gone faster since the short ratio gear box tops out at 140mph. You might find the full racing transmission to be more suited to the truck, I still have to test it.

My opinion, truck handles great. It took all the bumps on the Nurburgring like they were nothing. Absorbed them with ease and turned when I needed it to. Nice to know these GT4 setups will adapt over with ease. 👍

Edit: Nice thing about the aftermarket gear boxes is that it actually makes the truck sound supercharged in the replays. :D

Oh, and leave the stock exhaust on it. Sounds the best. :)

This is the setup I was looking for the Sport Truck Race Seasonal Event.
Handles great (with or without the big turbo).
I Love It!!!!!!

I'll have to try it now.
Anyone with your abilities must have a decent tune.

I made a tune, starting with the setup listed, I think you'll find excellent improvements in steering and lap time.

I didn't actually finish a lap with the posted tune, it's very controllable and easy to drive, but I ended up with something not much harder to drive and easily 10 seconds faster, I ran a 7:29 on my second lap, and I know you're faster than me, so I hope you enjoy it.

:lol: You'd think there'd be more truck tunes just because of those events, ain't?

If its a fast truck your looking for, get the Dodge Ram. Almost 800HP, AWD and 450PP. Great for pulling surprises in Drag AND racing rooms :D

Erm, I'm not sure if there's actually much tuning on mine but would you like a tune for Indianapolis? I have to get one done for High Speed Ring as well soon so I'll post it here.👍

I tried this tune but some reason the truck still doesn't handle better then the RAM 1500. It has a tendency to understeer on acceleration. Has anyone else got a good set-up for this? its driving me insane lol

Sorry Esoxhntr problem i have is "turn in" due to the understeer into a corner - i brake turn and it takes ages to "bite" and turn, i have to brake a second time to bring the nose into the corner. I generally have the same problem with all tucks i race.

Is there a general trick i can do to minimise the heavy trucks understeer???
