This is ridiculous. Spent 2 days grinding to buy that car. Had to finish one more race as I was 13k short. It was still there when I went into the race, come back out and it's SOLD OUT. This is beyond frustrating. You spend days working on getting these stupid overpriced cars and then PD does THAT to you. It's completely ridiculous, PD can go do things to itself!

I guess that answers the refresh question - it ticks over at midnight UTC.

Looks to me like the car that is about to sell out moves to "Limited Stock" a few hours before it sells out. Then the car that's already sold out is replaced with a new car and the "Limited Stock" car sells out at 0000 UTC. You can probably bet the MkIV gets replaced in 24hr (well, 23.5) and the XNR will move to "Limited Stock" a few hours before that and then sell out.

That's good to know 8pm Atlantic time :)

Yeah I noticed this yesterday. Originally I thought the "limited stock" label was organic based on how many people had bought it, but I believe it is just applied on its 4th day in the market and it immediately goes out of stock at 12:00 UTC once it has been 5 days. If so, at least we have a set pattern to predict when cars will leave and eventually which cars will be coming up, assuming they don't shuffle the order in which they appear. Hopefully someone has been keeping track of which cars have popped-up and when, I've already forgotten what the original line-up was day 1

Edit: It was the Alfa gr 4 car that left first. So it was the Porsche, Jag, ?, F50, Alfa. Can't remember which car the MkIV replaced though.

It sounds to me like you’re blaming PD for you not knowing the time when the dealership updated its selection. Come on. The limited stock warning is their way of telling players “last chance”. I can relate to your frustration over missing out, but you were just unlucky. Not screwed over by PD.

He said he spent two days grinding, pretty sure he was aware but what could he do about it if he was still short? Well, we know what PD/Sony wanted him to do....

Yeah, I was grinding and also bought all the Gr.B cars to test and help people that struggle with the rally event. Wanted to do a write-up on best cars for the fisherman's bay race. I only got so many hours in a day and you only really get 97.5k per race. But hey, at least I got my lap times to like 3:08 consistently! For some reason I thought it was 4.5 mill and not 4.6. In the time it took me to go from 4.5 to 4.6, it "sold out" lol

Yeah, microtransactions. However, players can also plan ahead by saving up credits in anticipation for certain cars. Then the grind won’t necessarily become a race against the clock.

I think it's also a day before it goes away.
The MkIV was Limited Stock for two days before disappearing. All other cars have been Limited Stock for one day before disappearing, at least that I've paid attention to.

Really? Let’s say you managed to scrape together enough credits to buy the MkIV after two days of grinding, only to find out the XJ13 goes up on sale for almost 3 times the price. Should you now take time off work to grind GT7 all day, or should you ask your boss for extra shifts to afford micro transactions?

The game is broken in a more severe way than I would’ve ever imagined. Seriously, what the hell?

8 hours of grinding to get that car. Or 26.666 hours of work if you get $15/hr and account for taxes. So basically over 3 days of full time work.

That's what i was doing,i passed on the Ford Mk IV, cause i had a feeling about the next car being better, but now i'm thinking the next car could be the Ferrari 330 P4 '67 ,think i'll just grind 5 mill more and see what happens, oh the suspense😂
