The Ford Model N was the successor to the Model A and Model C. The car was introduced in 1906 and stayed in production until 1908 where the iconic Model T would succeed it. The Ford Model N was part of a three model series. It was the entry level Ford available and the Model R and S were the higher class, more luxurious models of the lineup available in multiple body styles and had higher class features such as running boards on the fenders. The Model N was only available in a two or three passenger runabout. The base price of the Model N was $500 whereas the successful but outdated and slower Oldsmobile Curved Dash cost $650 making it very affordable at the time. The Model N's cost would add up if you added options such as a convertible top, and acetylene headlights.
