Ford Mondeo (Mk3) ST220 2002

Oh sure, it's 'just a Mondeo'. Nope. What this is is one of the most underrated cars ever made. It does bare a very common badge, but this rather good looking 3.0-litre V6 Q-Car with 226bhp is more exclusive in the UK than an Aston Martin DB9. Infact, that V6 is half of the Aston's power plant. This gets to 60mph in about 6.5 seconds, and goes on to 155mph, but best of all that V6 sounds terrific and this car drives beautifully. This mid-noughties future classic deserves recognition.
