The Ford Mustang is a 2 door muscle car built by Ford and has been on sale from 1964. This car is a drag racing version, called the FR500CJ (Cobra Jet). The car was built to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Ford winning the NHRA Internationals with a Ford Mustang Cobra Jet in 1968. This Cobra Jet uses a 400HP 5.4 V8, however it also has a "Whipple Blower" supercharger which increases power to 900HP. It also features a 6-Speed Manual (Or 3-Speed Auto) transmission, 1-piece driveshaft, Ford 9" rear axle, anti roll bars, drag spec spring kit and other engine improvements. The car weighs 1,500kg. The first prototype car sold for $375,000 at a Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale auction.
