Two former employees of the Ferrari Formula 1 team faced trial on Monday and were found guilty. The duo stole Ferrari's software and brought it with them to their new office in Cologne at Toyota F1.

According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport the two Italians will be taken to jail. One will have to go behind bars for nine months, the other for one year and four months.

WOW talk about corporate espionage. I wonder if toyota got anything out of this

Wow, I wonder how they found out... thats a really bold move for an employee to make, gosh someone must have been paying them big.... I wonder if Toyota managed to get something out of it before those guys were arrested!

Maybe they were the ones who loosened the pin on the gantry in the McLaren garage at Bahrain, lol..

Seriously though, quite something...wonder if Toyota would go under investigation

My guess is that the software contained precious CMYK data for toyota's paintjob.

But, then again, maybe they fired Gascoyne and are sucking on purpose.

This dates back to 2003 I think, or maybe it was 2005.

Anyway, the case started a long time ago.
