If you mean chassis wear, nope, it doesn't wear out no matter how much you drive it. The same applies to oil, since it can't be changed it doesn't get dirty. The perfect endurance racer in other words.

I got a formula gt, its tcs and abs don't work when I race against AI. can someone tell me what is wrong?

The screen before the race (Where you have the option to race, standings, etc) there should be an options button at the right of the options. I think TCS and ABS options are under Arcade.

Does it engine wear? My new polyphony FGT car had 904 hp when I won it and now it only has 893? I thought it does not wear out?:scared:

And no, I did not redline it!

No. My first answer (mileage goes up) was a comprehensive list of the effects of adding mileage to an FGT car.... unless BobK is right about the value.

Anyway, this has all been tested. Use the forum's search engine if you want accurate , well debated answers.

But when I race with another car the system works. only in race meeting my formula gt doesn't have asm/tcs. I think its a problem with my overused game:dopey: My ps2 hates me, I already had an corrupted game.:grumpy:
and thanx for your help.👍

Does anyone know the proper gear ratio settings to make the FGT not trip the level 1 TCS all the time? I'm having lots of trouble controlling it.

I don't think there are such settings, after all it has a lot of power in a very light car and that will undoubtedly lead to traction loss in lower gears. You'll either have to use higher gears when accelerating out of corners to lower the torque going to the driving wheels or just improve the throttle control. I suggest doing the latter, in the end it will be the faster and more satisfying way to go. :)

Exactly! 👍

Or you could shift gears in lower RPM to avoid the torque and horsepower peak to get in, I shift very early in my first 3 gears in the FGT 👍
