Since I wanted to get the Sauber so badly, I had to do the FGTC to get it.

Car: Formula Gran Turismo (gray/white), stock
AI: FGTs: white, green/yellow, yellow/black, blue, orange
B-Spec

Tokyo Route 246: Starting first in pole, I took a huge lead in the race to win by a lap. Ran on 4 overtake and there were no problems. 10 pts :)

Twin Ring Motegi Super Speedway: I tried this race before, and I lost this, 6 in Bspec. So I went Aspec. First pole, and won by an amazing 5 laps! Made a 25 second lap record drafting. But can you beat the one hour mark? I made 59:59'132. 20pts :sly:

New York: Resumed Bspec. Won by a lap, with 4+overtake. Hated this race, seeing the end fly up on the curbing. Man the pit is too narrow! 30 pts :ouch:

High Speed Ring-A Gran Turismo favorite, I raced it to ensure a win. There were some AI crashes, where the orange AI hit the rail and was sent spinning to hell. Won by a few, getting better laps towards the orange tires. 40 pts

Grand Valley Speedway: Also a favorite GT circuit, I polled 1st and won by a good margin. I wished the tunnels curbing didnt kick my car so high. 50 pts

Circuit de la Sarthe I: To me, it was a very simple race. Polled 1st, and won first! Ran on four+overtake, and still didnt run offcourse. 60 pts

Cote D'Azur: This race I was disapointed. Even though on poll and leading, as I tried to tell Bob to pass the last place car, he wouldnt. For like almost 25 laps he would stay behind that car, and finally it passes. Still won the race. 70 pts

Seoul Central: Very simple race, polled first and won first. 80 pts

Infineon: Some think this race may be decieving, but I won it easily. On 4 overtake, it looked very simple. 90 pts

Laguna Seca: Finally disaster for these cars! This was the most astonishing, since all the cars would come off track each lap and spin out. I only spinned out twice, but the othere were worse. From skidding to jumping all the way to the wall on the outer perimeter, it was funny. I was going to save the replay, but I forgot. Won by a lot. 100 pts

Motegi Road Course: It was boring, so I bspec-ed the race. won easily but opting to pit early by the pit crew. 110 pts

Nurburgring: Green Hell! But was it? Polled 4th, almost got it but spinning on the chicane. At the bspec start, i was way back pitting in two laps, normally. Before the pit, the white car skidded and hit me, knocking me to 5th with 6th close by. But on the next stint, something happened. My car was passing everyone, going faster. By the third stint I was in the lead. I actually ran this on 4+overtake and did not encounter problems. It made 5:45 laps and I would pit it 2 laps. The AI rarely skidded off the road. Very ironic! 💡 120 pts

El Capitan: Straight foward, won easily by a lap. 130 pts

Fuji Speedway 2005: Straight foward, won easily by a lap. 140 pts

Suzuka: Won easily, but due to some cornering problems. 150 pts all race won/complete

At the end I won my new Sauber Mercedes C9. It looks beautiful!
Thanks for reading, and post a comment if desired! JM :sly:

Hii All John_Mark!! Id like to ask you John_Mark about how you win the GT Formula? Because I have not won it yet, but I've completed all Beginner, Normal Rally, All US races, all beginers events and professional events besides the gran Turismo Championship event...and I cannot get a car that's as fast as the other AI opponents in the race...soo...I'd like some help please. Have a good day! See ya guys!

do the nurburgring 24 hours to get the formula gt. b-spec wins most races and if you are brave try driving it yourself (special license needed) because they are VERY fast!

I honestly think you have to work too hard for a Sauber. Not that i'm saying it's bad, but that's the way i feel, you need a better car to win a not-so-good car compared to what you used in that event. I do have the car myself, as well.

ok...thanks for the response :D, but honestly man...I've been driving 8 hour endurance with BMW M Coupe... and I got tired as hell...at that time, I did not know what B-spec. was...hehe, but I was extremly tired, so I don't know If I'll be able to drive 24 hours dude...It seems almost...impossible for me, by the way, how do you do when you drive long endurance races??

One thing that I REALLY miss in GT 4 is that, you can't save in the pit...that would be so freaking good maaan, hope they fix one of those saving in GT 5 , that would be extremly helpfull.

And one more question. If the cars are REALLY that fast as you say (mt00) in 24 hour endurance, isnt it those Le Mans cars as in Gran Turismo Champonship?? If it is those, I really don't know where to find a car like that..The only way then is buying that kinda' car. And those cost up to like...4,500 000 Cr. Duuude... Just can't wait to come to Extreme events :D:D, is it much harder??

To me, Laguna was very easy. I rarely slipped on the infamous curve, and all of the AI went off every time into the dirt and was funny. I was going to save the replay, but I was so into it I went into the next race.
@Dinc3GT: The Nurb 24hr has only touring cars, the Le Mans LMPs. Do the Nurb24hr, use the FGT to win the GTCW easily. I also had a hard time winning this.

@mt00:There is a PP. At pre-race screen, hit practice and you try to get the fastest times for the grid.

@SNLFan80:To stop this, before the chicane, put it to 3 (2 if the tires are hot) pace, and at the curve, put it to 2 (1 if your tires are hot).

@a Trico Pro: I agree with you. The Sauber wasn't the great as I expected it to be.

To all: Form the typing, hope this helps!

I'll add this as a way to win some of the tough races:
Motegi SS: Do this in A-Spec. Long, but easier since later your tires give an advantage on the turns. Never brake or let go of the throttle unless you go to the pits.
Sarthe: B-Spec, at 3 or 4+overtake. Be careful as AI can spin off the road and you can be hit.
Nurburgring:3 or 4+overtake. Ironically in my race none of the AI slipped except mine in the first lap. Go for 4 if your Spec has skill.
Suzuka:Before Denger Curve, put to 2, then at the curve, 3 it. Also at the Casio triangle, 1 it.

I did not like doing the tournament, i found the super speedway by far the easiest because i could stay on the track 3 times longer than the AI before having to pit in.

i plan on doing this all on a-spec
(so far 10 000 a spec points:sly: !!!!! 0 b-spec points(no races ever on b-spec:yuck: all a-spec:) :) ))
i need help though, what is the best car to use for the gran turismo all star race?? (hongkong handed me my first loss on my 1st 2nd and 3rd 100% completion round)

i did the nurburgring 24hr race easily. i used the chapparal 2J race car, upgraded it to 1075hp and raced against a bunch of slow cars. set it to B-spec and left it over night. the next day turned the telly on and collected my credits and my formula GT.
