I'm currently using:

downforce
F 70
R 90
Gear
top speed 242
LSD
15/45/55
suspension
height
5/5
spring rate 17.4/17.5
dampers E 8/8
dampers C 6/6
roll bars 7/7
camber angle F 2.0 R 1.0
Toe angle F 0.00 R -0.20
Brake balance 4/1

But the wheels spin too easily and it isn't stable at all, especially at Monaco, Suzuka, and Nurburgring GP. ABS: 1, TCS: 6, Skid Recovery: On

Help please? :(

Edit: I'd like to be able to floor the accel or brake even while turning and not have to worry about spinning out or even smoking the tires.

Honestly (and this isn't a knock), I'm really surprised you're having any issues whatsoever with those assists on. But you should increase your LSD acceleration settings if you're spinning the tires in a turn.

Also, just a comment about that kind of driving style - it's not the fastest way to drive. Think about how you would drive a car with 936hp in real life. You can't floor it (or most cars for that matter) and expect it not to burn the tires. GT5 is meant to be a driving simulator, and it sounds like you're wanting more of an arcade driving experience (again, not a knock at you). I can only suggest learning to drive more realistically by adjusting throttle and brake pressures according to the behavior of the vehicles you're driving.

That being said, here is my current tune for the FGT. If I used skid recovery with this setting the other cars in the FGT championship wouldn't stand a chance. Hope you find it useful.

Thanks! I'll definitely try it out.

And yeah, I'm just getting used to my new wheel after using a controller for so long. I just need to be able to beat this tournament comfortably.

Edit: I don't know what to do... I keep making stupid mistakes and losing after getting a good lead. :(

I'm never going to beat this. :(

If you're using the Logitech Driving Force GT, the brake pedal sticks so you must hook up a bungy so that the break pedal isn't slightly pressed while you're in the turns. It's like Brake torquing into a turn in real life, great if you want to do a lawn job, but crappy for high speed turns.

I figured this out way too late lol. I thought I was getting worse.
