Fort GT '06 Tuning Help

So me and my British buddy are going it trying to see who can get the best time on Nurburgring GP/D (sadly, we both have no wheel controllers).

I managed to get my Dodge Viper to beat his Lamborghini Murcielago's time after racking my brain to adjust the suspension to fix the steering's unresponsiveness.

But now I'm hoping to see what I can do with the Fort GT.
However, I've come up with a problem. After a turn when I start to speed up, the rear tends to slip out and my back end swerves some as I try to correct it, losing valuable time. The Viper has much more grip in those situations, which honestly surprised me.

Is there any way to fix this?
Or is the fact that it's a mid-engine car just mean I have to adapt my driving style to the new weight distribution?

P.S. Bear in mind, this car is fully-tuned, too. Oil change, engine overhaul, etc.
P.S.S It goes into corners just fine. It's when I start to accelerate into a turn, it starts to slip out.
