Forza and Xbox what would I need?

If I was going to get Forza what would I need?

I never owned or wanted a Xbox360 and I really dislike the controller with a passion if I am honest I dislike everything about Microsoft and there crappy box of breakdowns, but I always been a little envious of Forza I had the original Xbox just for Forza I cannot recall what number it was but spent most of my time in the livery editor but sold it because of the controller.

1.Could I use a ps3 pad on a Xbox 360 ?
2.What Forza has the best sounds and car selection?
3.Will I need xboxlive to have a decent experience ?

1) No.
2) The sounds are definitely a vast improvement of the GT sounds. If you love to play games in surround sound, this is for you. As for car selection, if you hate the duplicates found in GT, Forza is heaven for you. There are many more cars from 2010, such as the F10 M5 and more.

3) If you want to use online features, yes. If you are solely interested in the single-player experience, the only things that are taken away from you are the Online Auction House (Buy cars from other players) and the Storefront (Buy tunes, liveries and photos from other players).

I just got an xbox 360 and forza 4 limited collectors and forza horizon 13 days ago just becuse I wanted more racing. I never had xbox or forza before. I got all for around $350 all new on ebay, I onlygot the 4g skylanders edition xbox and have 2 usbs for more storage Ive been able to play both games and download all the dlc and have a lot of room left. I love Forza 4 well botb games actually but compared to GT6 there is hundreds of more races to do all cas have cockpit view, not as many cars but no pointless repeats of the same car all the good knes plus A whole lot more that gt doesnt even mention. Lots of lmp gt3 and other racecars, not as many tracks but enough and a few that gt dont have that are awsome. I love the customizing and livery editor you can spend hours on that alone. Theres endess rival races. Tbe world tour is 4 times career mode in gt6 and you have like 1000 races in the events section that you will use just about every car in the game. I dont care about sounds but they are louder and better than gt I guess. I got xbox live and the gold I think you atleast need live to do online which is by far better than GT. My biggest thing I dont like is the physics to me GT is better Frza cars feel a little arcade ot need for speed lime as they tend to really slide around. It is possible to tune that out if you take the time to do it. I play with all aids of no drive line, steering on normal damage on simulation and damage is reall good to play wit on it makes a real challange and it looks good and pretty real mechainically. and I play with opponents onthe toughest level and the AI is tough at first if you play with high difficulty its hard to win it takes some vetting use to and the AI can be overlg aggresive especially into turns but if you hang back to avoid getting banged up its hard to catch back up. Dont know about using a ps3 controller but the triggers on the xbox controller are a lot njcer than ps3 ds3 i use triggers for gas and break and the xbox controller is a lot easier to have throttle and brake control. also the rim and tire tuning actually affect the cars handling unlike gt. Overall if you play GT and are looking for more racing thats like GT than Forza is perfect and worth it. there different in th way cars handle but its easy to adjust and I found a lot more to do in Forza andForza is better in some areas than GT so if you like sim racing go for it you will like it I havnt played Gt6 since I got Forza. I recommend getting Horizon also its crazy fun. If you have more question send me whatever an if you get it and want someone whose new to the gameto run with hit me up I playprettg muc everyday. Im still learning what all forza 4 has to offer. My biggest gripe is having to pay for all the dlc cars $6.99 for 10 cars sucks but I waned the cars so I forked it over. If you plan on buying dlc get the season pass it givs you 6 of the monthly dlcs forfree which saves some money. and forza 4 limited collectors edition givs you two tracks and some cars. Also the porsche dlc is cool you get 30 porsches I think it was $15. Hope this is useful
