Less whiny version of what I wanted to say: Too many locked cars, not enough Autoshow buyables!

At least every car is obtainable. In previous Forza's the so-called "unicorn cars" would only come up once and that's it. No Auction House or anything. FH4 makes it fun because you always have a reason to play.
And cars like this one take literally only three easy races to win. Less than 10 minutes. If you miss it, it's on you. And still, you'll be able to find it shortly after in the Auction House, or the Forzathon shop.
I have all the exclusive cars, but agree with your opinion.Less whiny version of what I wanted to say: Too many locked cars, not enough Autoshow buyables!
And it is even more tragic when my favorite car is an exclusive car. What if I want to apply a different tune or livery and it's not available for purchase on AH?
With that in mind, I have a number of such cars sitting in my garage.
(*My style of play is not to apply different tunes and liveries to the same car every time, but to own several of the same model and apply different tunes and liveries to each of them.)
No worries, I understand all that, but when some insanatic a...-muffin sells a car worth less than 100k for 8,192,000 on the auction house, you begin to wonder how to make enough credits for that.
Sorry for the bad language here but the price players can set their cars at in the auction house is broken. I know it's got to do with rarity but even then, a GMC Typhoon for 8,192,000?
