Found a way to make the demo interesting...

...before it expires at the end of February. Was just messing around yesterday and spun out coming out of T11. Found myself facing the opposite direction, then it hit me.

"I wonder what the track is like going the other way?"

Quite interesting to say the least. Although coming out of the infield back on to the oval and going through "turn 1" gives you a small taste of what NASCAR will be like in the game. I almost find it disappointing when you have to turn back into the infield after that turn.

I gave this a go today in the tuned, some of the corners are pretty complicated with very late apexes that are blind, very enjoyable. Nothing beats Suzuka reverse though, what a wonderful final section.

I already have a pretty good idea because it's very similar to the MotoGP track. I actually like the MotoGP course more than the GP course.

Drive around the track in the wrong direction to get a different experience from the GT5TT demo. As you will get to the banked turn of the oval after a long straight you'll be going a lot faster so it gives a taster of the full oval track used in NASCAR.

It's what I've been practising today...best way to time it ghost wise, is to restart after each lap you do.

Start, cross the line and head down to turn 1 but go to the right of the 100metre braking block in the pit lane. Go around it, then do the lap backwards then go around the 100metre block and then complete the lap forward

I agree, I started doing this a few days after the TT demo released actually, and the first 10 laps were definitely more challenging going the opposite way around the course.

Too bad we can't record lap times the opposite way in-game, would be fun to have a little IndyReverse GTP competition.
