* Denotes a Replay is required to be uploaded to their storefront for verification.

I think the times this week will be taking some people by surprise! This was a hard-fought challenge and D2 seems to be the most changed division. In D1 lukas2121 has given himself some breathing space up in first, though Beermachine66 has had enough pace to turn the tables.... D3, or DivisionBergj42 as it may soon be called, is starting to hurt slightly from lack of participation.

FRS Point System:

We have compiled a point system for the FRS organized by division:
Below are some key points on how it works:
  • Divisional Points are as follows:
    1st Place - 8 points
    2nd Place - 7 points
    3rd Place - 6 points
    4th Place - 5 points
    5th Place - 4 points
    Participation - 2 points
  • You get 1 point just for submitting the qualifier run and 2 points just for submitting a time for that week. The better you place for that week, the more points you will receive.
  • Your points will get reset back get 5 points total for being promoted to a higher division.
  • The points will reset every 4 months, completing a 'season'.
  • Once a season ends, the point system will reset back to week 1 using the following week's FRS combo.

Submitting And Verifying A Requested Replay:

If a request is made for you to supply a replay, look in the results thread for a "(Replay Required)" to appear next to your name and submitted time. You may also get a PM if a replay hasn't been promptly provided.

Many hands make little work and if you can assist the Race Stewards in verifying each others lap times, it won't go unappreciated. Follow The Guide To Managing FM4 Replays to verify another drivers submitted time.

Remember to mark whether the replay was valid or not in the results thread:
user118395pic1573412914.gif
- Clean/Valid Lap
rflagnv1.gif
- Dirty/Invalid Lap
bflagtp3.gif
- DQ'd Lap (only used in the results thread by the Race Stewards)

The code to insert a flag is. Remember to wrap them in an Image Tag;

Thanks to all who participated. 👍

Points are being updated now: I will edit this post when points are current.

Points are current, assuming that replay verification goes smoothly :)

I will be glad to post me replay once I get home. I dont mind uploading it but I am unsure why I need to. It was a clean Forza-style lap.

However, I will upload it when I get home from work.

The replays are decided at random each week to keep people on their toes! If you were chosen for a replay verification and you've already uploaded, all the better.

I am disappointed there aren't more of us racing. There are a lot of people on the registry and not everyone is participating. :(

I feel especially bad for bergj42, for the past 2 weeks he has been the only D3 participant. I am unsure if this will be a short inaugural season but I think the divisions might need some readjusting once season 2 comes around.

There is a lack of dedication in the Forza community compared to GT5's but it is also a smaller community. There must be more who can find the time to do a few laps and post a time

I'll try to find some time to participate this week, as I really want to put in a good hour or two into this week. He won't be alone this week, I'm sure of it. :)

Keep in mind that this is a young community. Participation isn't going to be like it is in GTP. Also, GTP has had this event running for many years. It'll take a little time for more participants. Have some faith.

All in all, I think we have a good base of participants to grow from. The WRS at GTP has many many more times the number of members in their registry, yet percentage-wise we have a higher rate :D

The WRS used to have similar numbers early on and they really formed a tight-nit group, one that I'm still a part of. I think we are heading in the same direction, just takes time and good combos 👍

Well done everyone, division 3 looked really competitive this week with 0.000 seconds seperating their times. it's a shame that many people don't participate, but as well as FP being a young community Forza also has an official website and forum which a lot of people will use over a non-official site as it will have more visitors. GT5 doesn't really have that which means a lot more people will go to these sites which aren't made by the games producers.

I'm wondering why almost all of D1 are competing, around half of D2 are competing, and then only 1 tenth of D3 are still putting in times. I'm thinking maybe some of them just don't see much point in competing, or if they're people who really don't have much interest anymore and just bought the game and then moved on shortly after to a different game?

I'm still quite disappointed with my lap, the whole lap was great for me but then on one corner which I could get right every other lap I messed up and lost about 2 tenths.

When I first started out in the WRS right after GT4 was released, I was in the 3rd division. I realized that I just wasn't as good as I thought I was. But week after week I improved. For me, I did have the competitive edge, but I mostly enjoyed that fact that it made me a better racer. I still have much to learn but all in all, I enjoyed the WRS. Made many friends there. So all you D3 drivers, come on out.

@bleurabbit, I know what you mean about improving, although I've only taken part in 2 WRS events I spent a lot of time hot lapping with various cars and tracks on GT5 before I registered which really helped improve my skills and understanding of how you need to control cars, and when I tried out Forza 3 for the first time I was competitive against my friends straight away when some of them had been playing Forza for quite a long time due to track knowledge and possibly the advantage of using manual gears. I'm hoping to continue improving by taking part in the FRS, I think my track knowledge is good enough now, it's just putting the whole lap together which troubles me now and is something I really need to work on. Bear in mind that about 5 years ago I would of struggled to put together a slow clean lap and I think I've done alright.

I don't know if anyone else is doing this but I'm just keeping a record of how many people from each division and in total are taking part each week and for the last 4 weeks the amount of people taking part lies between 16 and 18 so the events so far have certainly been good but it would be nice to see more people.
