Standard clean OLR rules apply:

  • All Hard Surfaces are track. This includes rumble strips, concrete, cobbles, etc
  • If your lap gets flagged with the Forza Invalidation Indicator: /!\ Your lap may still count as long as it fits the rest of the listed criteria (i.e. two tires were on/above the track when the /!\ indicator came up)

Submission And Participation:

When you have verified your lap is clean and the best you can do, visit http://frs.atspace.co.uk/submit.
Fill out each field and click Submit at the bottom to complete the process.

This week's time needs to be submitted before June 19th by 11:59PM Pacific Standard Time. This is GMT -8 or -7 depending on daylight savings time.

If you encounter any issues with the submission form or process, please send a PM to Terronium-12 or Jump_Ace.

Feel free to post your best times in this thread. You can compare how you stack up with other participants throughout the week by visiting the FRS Weekly Splits Leaderboard (which can be found here: http://frs.forzaplanet.net). Also note the following:

  • You can submit only ONCE (be sure to give it your best effort)
  • Please give it your best effort as sandbagging is highly frowned upon in the Forza Planet community.

Please refer to this Time Calculator Website to properly add multiple times together (when necessary) before submitting your time.

This is a friendly competition open to drivers of all abilities, so start racing and we'll see you in the results :) 👍

FRS Point System:

We have compiled a point system for the FRS organized by division:Below are some key points on how it works:

  • Divisional Points are as follows:
    1st Place - 8 points
    2nd Place - 7 points
    3rd Place - 6 points
    4th Place - 5 points
    5th Place - 4 points
    Participation - 2 points
  • You get 1 point just for submitting the qualifier run and 2 points just for submitting a time for that week. The better you place for that week, the more points you will receive.
  • Your points will get reset back get 5 points total for being promoted to a higher division.
  • The points will reset every 4 months, completing a 'season'.
  • Once a season ends, the point system will reset back to week 1 using the following week's FRS combo.

Time Verification:

SPECIAL NOTE: When running your qualifier time. Please restart your session every 15 or sooner (10 to 12 laps depending on the track). FM4 will stop recording your replay after (roughly) 15 minutes. Thus, if you run your best lap after it stops recording, it won't count as you can't provide the replay.

Save your replay and keep it at least 6 weeks after submission:

  • Top 1-3 fastest times from each division will be required to submit a replay for verification
  • Any submitted time is subject to a time verification request
  • When a time verification has been requested, the concerned racer must provide a replay within 3 days
  • Failure to do so will result in the submitted time being ignored for official registration
  • Video replays are not accepted (i.e. using camera phone, camcorders, etc.)

Submitting And Verifying A Requested Replay:

If a request is made for you to supply a replay, look in the results thread for a "(Replay Required)" to appear next to your name and submitted time. You may also get a PM if a replay hasn't been promptly provided.

Many hands make little work and if you can assist the Race Stewards in verifying each others lap times, it won't go unappreciated. Follow The Guide To Managing FM4 Replays to verify another drivers submitted time.

Remember to mark whether the replay was valid or not in the results thread:

- Clean/Valid Lap
rflagnv1.gif
- Dirty/Invalid Lap
bflagtp3.gif
- DQ'd Lap (only used in the results thread by the Race Stewards)

The code to insert a flag is. Remember to wrap them in an Image Tag;

Race Stewards Comments:

Take the monstrous McLaren F1 around this mountain circuit in Spain and unravel the rhythmic formula to setting the best times whilst maintaining proper form.

Remember to keep at least two tires on the rumble strip and/or within the white lines on the tarmac. Taking a turn too fast that causes you to go into a run-off, dirt, sand, etc. will invalidate your lap.

Because the FRS is a new series, here is a quick run-down of what you need to do to participate:

  1. Run the Registry Qualifier if you haven't yet, which can be found HERE.
  2. Now load up this week's FRS Car and Track Combo. Drive your best, clean lap(s). Post your results in this thread as you progress throughout the week.
  3. Compare your splits with other participants by visiting the FRS Weekly Splits Leaderboard
  4. When you've done your best, submit your time before the above deadline using FRS Submission Form found HERE.
NOTE - Regarding week's submission form, please leave the Division section blank.

If you have any questions, please post them in the Registry Discussion Thread.

Can we have some more stock cars soon, I am not the strongest tuner :/

Hennessey, check out my storefront, I uploaded my initial tune for the track, (free), I will update it throughout the week. Let me know if it helps or you want tweaks to it and I will see what I can do.

This is odd, I was going to suggest the F1 GTR on the extreme circuit a few days ago.

I guess I'll be using the storefront as usual, I think I'm quite slow at this track but I really enjoy the first corner and the downhill run to turn 2.

thanks, I will add you on xbox live

I agree, not trying to dictate what we should do, but I feel the spirit of the FRS was based around picking a car, and seeing who can drive it the fastest in stock form. Most of our past races have been open tuning and even though I have missed the past few weeks do to time constraints, I probably would've made more of an effort if I could just jump in and drive, instead of having to worry about tuning and/or searching for a proper tune.

First try at this event 1:04.862, the car was very twitchy while the tyres were still heating up but once they were heated it had a lot of grip even though I couldn't push it to its limits because of my previous experience. Using a design someone made of the GT5 stealth model and it looks amazing.

For anyone that thinks the car is too expensive at 3,000,000 credits in the season play make sure you check out the auction house and you should quite easily find one for under 300,000. If anyone's struggling to get 300k together add me and I'll send you the car.

I was gonna do a combo eerily similar to this one next week

Jerome

Yes I can do that but sometimes you go through 20 tunes before you get to one you can get to grips with. Anyway don't want to cause problems :D just an idea for the future to have some stock cars :)

Problems? No problems, if it came across that away it may have been because it was early in the morning and I was a bit grumpy, so apologies for that.

For W16 I'll use the car I was originally going to use for this week, which was going to be stock.

Sorry about that Jerome. :P

EDIT: Oh! For all those worried, there's an S700 F1 tune on my SF that's been there for months.

Yeah, wow, I didn't realize the price tag involved with this car. I will be looking in the storefront for sure as I dont want to eat up nearly a third of my credits...

I was surprised by it too, I'm used to just going and buying the car without looking at the price tag but luckily I had a look at the corner of my screen. Most people could probably get them out of the auction house for 150k but I just looked for a cheap buyout so I could get straight onto lapping. I think it helps that it is one of the level reward cars and that is why they are so cheap in the AH.

Luckily I had one as one of my reward cars. Tried a tune but could only manage 1:09.540. I will play with the gears, could only barely get into fourth with this tune.

If you use a tune from the storefront I believe you don't need to buy the car to use it in free run. As long as it stays in the same class you can load the tune from the race menu.

Got down to 1:07.688 tuning on my own. I tried both Faustalus and T12's tunes before giving it my own try. Picked the car up for $500K on the AH. There were a bunch up there with that buyout when I was looking.

I forgot to add in the last post that my tune is on my storefront for free if anyone wants to try it.

Just was interested and tried your tune, managed low 1:05 's with it, lost the back end too easily but did only few laps and so tires probably would need few more laps to warm enough, overall very nice tune 👍

Thanks, I've always wondered whether my tunes were even close... I didn't really get a chance to tweak much to try and get some of the oversteer out. I tweaked the brake bias to get more control under braking and think it still needs more. I guess this just means I need to learn to drive better. :(

Say what?? This combo has been giving me issues and I thought tonight was the deadline. This is great news as I want to try and either re-tune or cave and download the storefront tune. However, the Gulf livery I found when I bought the car is quite nice.

I thought this ended tonight as well and was just about to go for a final run, I've still only done my initial run from last week. I don't know whether to refamiliarise myself with the car today and try improve tomorrow or to just go for it tomorrow.

So I bought a tune, tried it, and it was just okay. Then I attempted another personal tune with downforce (I usually opt out of downforce if I can help it) and it did give me my current fast time.

However, overall it will be a slow time compared to other competitors. I have known for a while that S class is by far my weakest class and this track is one that I dont normally spend a lot of time at. I did get some good sessions in but improvement was minimal. I will attempt this once more tonight but will probably move on to week 15.
