Greetings Drifters,
My name is David Adams and I am a LCPL in the United States Marine Corps. The reason I am here today is to inform all of you who are interested that I am planning to open a school sometime in the near future. But, as all the professionals say, you have to get you're name out first and then get a name for yourself second. So I am offering, free of charge, lessons to any and all drifters who need assistance with their practice.
Now, I'm not trying to make it seem like I am some super-stellar drifter, I make mistakes too, but I have my certificate from Hokuri Shin's School of Specialized Driving in Nago,Okinawa, JA. The course was a year long and taught me everything from proper techniques of grip to the fundamentals of drift. I am certified from an acredited driving school and upon arrival at the location, I will show everyone my certificates for reassurance purposes.
This is open to anyone and everyone who lives in or around the DC Metro area and/or to all who can get to the area at will.
As of late, I have decided to make this course a non-pass-or-fail course, taking a page from my instructors book, as I will continue to remediate as much as possible until you learn what you need to get sideways the way that you want to.
It is one of my goals and dreams to teach at least one person and get them to carry on and win a sanctioned event. The feeling of pride that would come from that would just be surreal and I can't even begin to describe the pride my drift instructor felt when he saw me drifting, and beating, the Japanese locals and Japanese drift crews at the Nago Circuit. I would like to be able to feel this pride, so I am offering these lessons so that people will know that I know what I am talking about and so that I can get students drifting.
Once again, these lessons are free as a promotion ONLY. That means, that right now, you can get FREE lessons for as long as you want and learn as much as you want. That's right, absolutely free, I am more about getting people sideways than I am about getting money for it.
However, (You knew this was coming) once my school is opened and debts start establishing, I will have no choice but to initiate a fee for my lessons.
Which is exactly why I am asking you to jump on this now, before it costs money, that way, when you hear about people graduating from David Adams' School of Specialized Driving 10 years from now, you can look back and laugh, because you remember when you got lessons from David Adams on a Maryland autocross and on a closed off mountain road.
If you are interested, send me an email with the best times to meet you and letting me know what kind of car you drive and how often you want/need lessons. Also let me know if you have any moral or principle feelings against drifting on a closed off mountain roads, I will then adjust my lesson plan to maintaining the lessons to the books and the autocross track.
Thank you for your time,
LCPL David Adams
