Free Virus Protection?

do any of you guys use FreeAV? everyone at skool recomended it but i thought i would get another point of view

Nope. I use Eset NOD32. Scans faster than any other AV application and also has the highest detection rate!

If you're bothered about virus protection, you'd be better off paying the $40 or whatever for Norton Antivirus, and getting hold of some kind of Firewall too.

I suppose it depends upon your point of view, and your ability to pay. However, to me, my data is worth more than the £35-odd that it costs to buy a fully supported AV program.

I take the point that you would be better off if you could get complete AV protection for no cash at all, so perhaps you should evaluate this free application with a view to getting out your wallet if it doesn't cut the mustard.
