Freelancer coming soon

When is it released? I saw a preview of the game's genre. It is space sim, FPS, and RPG.

I've got it, and skip the RPG. It's a high intensity action oriented space shooter. There is very little sim involved either. Oddly enough they got it to work perfectly with mouse controls, but I miss my Saitek X36 for the action. I thought it would be like Privateer, but it really has nothing in common with that game (The Wing Commander developer that started it left MS mid game.)

Freelancer will be my next purchase after ZOE2. Chris Roberts (the Wing Commander guy) had little influence on the game. If there is another Wing Commander game, I hope it looks just as good as Freelancer does.
