Friends not showing in GT5 friends list

So a couple weeks ago I posted for some more friends who will run my B spec racers. I recieved many invites but some dont show up in my GT5 friends list. I know my grinder isnt able to select them for races but they are using mine and I feel horrible I cant return the favor. Anyone know what I need to do? How can I fix this? The worst part is that I have friends who have never even played the game yet they show up in my GT5 friends list.

I have the same problem! I can see my friends in playstation network webpage, but I cant see them in the GT5 webpage.
