I'll be there. Like @chrisjohnson93 the Shelby has problems in Curva Grande but its understeer thats the issue.

I will be testing this evening in a private room so you're all welcome if you want.

1:49's. 48's might be possible on a perfect lap, but seems difficult. Don't know though what other cars can do and they should definitely be competitive at Monza. Will be a difficult race for the GTO's.

Anyway, I'm hoping to erase my memory of last year's race where my car turned uncontrollable after a couple of laps. Monza could be a real thriller, if a number of drivers can keep it on track for a while.

Hope I'll be able to keep my string of good results at Monza (never finished lower than 2nd in class, apart from a DC on 1st lap in WSC IV with the XJ13)

WSC III: 2nd (Ferrari 330 P4) my only good race with that car under then current specs
WSC V: 1st (Jaguar XJ13) *1st pic
WSC VI: 2nd (Lamborghini Miura) *2nd pic
WSC VII: 1st (Ferrari 250GT)

Here's where I passed @DrifterJoe for the lead (I'm in the blue Jag...) Hakkinen-vs-Schumacher-at-Spa-2000-style... :D @chrisjohnson93 played the part of Zonta... :P

Here's WSC's closest recorded finish... (credits to @FlyingFox, his photo was better than mine... and also for the win obviously)

My results are: WSC III: 4th (E-Type, after having a comfortable 2nd in the bag, RPH unpaused and rolled into the middle of Ascari wrecking my car with 5 minutes left)
WSC IV: 1st (Domination of ST class and even beating GT cars :sly:)

I once finished 3rd in a PT Ferrari once and even a 2nd place back in my factory ford days finishing around a minute behind @DrifterJoe after getting damage on the parade lap. Not been a happy hunting ground since with a poor showing in season VII before last season I took the decision to retire early after repeatedly crashing after being ill for the previous few days before the race

Done a full race distance test this evening, so I know how many stops I'm doing (barring any incidents) and how much fuel to take.

Happy with the set up of the Shelby and lap times.

I can probably guess a strategy but it will depend on how many laps I will complete during the race (i'm guessing around 47/48) as we're about 15 or so seconds off the GT-P class, and if I get damage during the race which is very most likely as I always seem to get damage in this series.

Well I know Ross is missing. In all honesty i'm getting rather bored of such rubbish luck for myself.

I just drive my own race and pick up the pieces when people ahead make a mistake.

Not made any real costly errors this season apart from the spins at Nurburgring which could have cost me the win. And the small error at Bathurst causing me to pit early and having to do a very long 2nd stint.

Haven't tested at all. Been busy recently so will probably only do 1 lap or so to check the gear ratios.
My Bathurst gearing was fine for here, so I'm just using that.
You should do well here. I got the Shelby round a tenth faster than the Jag when we did a few laps last week. I think the Shelby has very good acceleration due to its torque.

@Furinkazen @Phouchg I did 1:36.6 in the Shelby.
