How do you find tunes?
I love GT5 but there are still a few things about GT4 that I greatly preferred. Probably nothing was more important than that you could easily find a choice of tunes for almost any car on GTVault. Quickly, easily, organized.
But for some reason tuners seem to prefer to post here on GTPlanet for GT5, I have no idea why. It would seem to me that if you go to the trouble of posting a tune on the internet you want it to be viewed by as many as possible. But nobody is likely to see it if they can't find it.
The search functions here are insane. One of the first threads in this forum is "Every GTPlanet Tune That Exists Is In This Thread!!!"
I click on this thread. I click on "Search this thread". I type in the word "Scuderia". I get "Sorry - no matches." Really? I type in the word "Enzo". Two matches, neither of which contains a tune or a clue where to find one.
Sorry if I'm a newbie idiot (been playing for a few months), but is there a way to find the tunes available for a given car that isn't hideously laborious?
I greatly appreciate the wonderful tunes I have been able to find here and wish to express my gratitude to the tuners but I must tell you that much of your work is going to waste because it simply cannot be found.
It has prodded my efforts to learn how to do my own setups, but that as well would be greatly aided by being able to compare my efforts with those of people who really know what they're doing.
Is there a reason you don't post your tunes on GTVault? Is there a technique for finding things on GTPlanet I just haven't figured out yet? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
