There is (to my knowledge) no database with this kind of information, and though the difference can be quite huge, it doesnt necessarily mean the more efficient car will be more likely to win when its downside is for example lack of speed or worse tyrewear.

If engine swaps are allowed, then I would guess it would be one of them.

Valid options would be plenty
BYH-R8 (Audi R8 4.2)
Audi TTS Coupe '14
R5-20vT-Quattro-Pikes (Audi S1 Quattro Pikes Peak '87)

My guess would go with the Cayman, with or without engine swap it would be my favourite choice of them.

Thank you so much for taking time with such depth explanation.

I eventually won all 5 races with Aston Martin DBR9 GT1 '10

At fuel map 6, I could finish with 1 fuel stop & no change of tyres. Was running RH.

Competing against good drivers.
Positioned at
2nd : Nissan GT-R GT500 '99
3rd : Audi R8 LMS '15

I suppose i somehow found a sweet spot in my tune. Acceleration in 4th to 5th gear could help me in the 2 long straights.

Regards
Vishvesh
