Hi,

I think in the next GT series, we should have a fully Auto box with kickdown. If this is ment to be real life simulation, why not have a box with kickdown. Coming out of a corner and foot down and drops down to the correct gear.

Also, if they do give us a fully auto box with kickdown, why not have a sports mode, which takes revs slightly past redline and keeps in gears longer, and quicker drop down time just like in real life???

Also, Stick in a cluch feature, so you can control it yourself. Remove or make the rev limiter longer, so you can have the chance to blow your engine

The clutch feature has been mentioned alot, and removing teh rev limiter, why would you do that?

Grrrr . . . I do use manual, but for all those who dont use manual, and for the odd mess around session. Would be cool for those "roam around" sessions as many people have requested.

!! Would remove limiter as sometimes when your nearly at full RPM over taking someone and Bamm, rev limiter comes in and cant go no where. I know you should really be changing gear, but for those times when you really want to push your car to the maximum limits you cant :S

Well an automatic 'box with just a simple manual override would be great IMO.

Its been done, Semi-Automatics, and these still dont have kick down in games, or change at low RPM when power is not needed

But it hasn't been done in GT. It would allow a much better transiton from Auto to Manual for players.

Yes, but i was on about a fully tran box. This would be quite a good idea, but i think a fully tan box would be a good idea. If revs are too low drop down yourself and control the car??
