FWD drfting

I know how to drift RWD and 4WD cars.
Now is the time for FWD.

If some one know the way to obtain good drift settings for FWD cars, please post it.

I'm not asking for settings (if you put it, I won't say no), just the way (do this..., change that....)

(My english isn't very good but I think it´s possible undestand it)

yo wassup want to know how well i can tell u.......i can drift any drive train..........hea it is ..........all u do is push the gas and the e brake at the same time but u also have to watch the speed and keep the car at a pood pace..........stay side ways and counter steer when u feel its rite..........u have to know the technique though it the car goes toward the middle u go on to the e brake and the gas if it goes out u tap both........thats how its done .........now perfect it......

My lil bro the FF-drift master says:

"The FF cars have many advantages over the other drivetrains. Doing a perfect totally sideways drift is almost ridicilously easy because FFs don't spin easily when drifting.
All you gotta do is get more grip on the front. This can be done by adjusting the suspension and brake balance. LSD can help a lot as well(i ain't talkin' about da drug).
Now if you succeed in setting the suspension correctly, you can drift almost the same way as with FRs or 4WDs.
Oh and remember to set the brake balance so that the rear wheels brake more.(this way you can drift almost completely without the sidebrake.) You can use the "left foot braking" technique(push the throttle with your right foor while braking with the left one at the same time).

Enter the corners at a slightly too high speed and rock the car from right to lef(assuming its a left hand corner), while pressing the brake hard and of course, pressing the accelerator at the same time as you see fit.
If you have the skills you'll be completely sideways and you don't need to countersteer. This is the FF four wheel drift.
If the car starts to understeer during the drift, use the sidebrake, but this is not usually necessery." -JET

I had a video a while back of a full out lap on apricot hill with the RSX type S, If I can find some hosting I could give it a post for people to look at.

Basically, for FF drifting, you need to use the handbrake a lot. It is the easiest way to control your drifts and point where you want to go, all while keeping the gas planted on the floor.

Another route to look at to try some weight transfer drifting with a FF is to get the rear springs stiff, and give a stabilizer setting of 7 in the rear and anything that is less than that to your tastes. Also throwing some toe-out will do the trick as well in the rear.

QuadX is gonna be the slowest drifting ever, because if ur using sim tires, that means ur slow and u suck, goshh people use super soft or something, its faster

Drifting is not about speed most of the time. Sometimes, people go for style and not for speed. Others may go for speed and not for style, or may be both. The thing is though, drifting wasn't made to go significantly faster than taking the racing line.

its only a game and its meant to be fun,
drifting is a style of racing, doesnt have to be the fastest,
just to make people drop their jaw is something when they see
a fwd drift, its very hard to control, youre either too fast or too
in to a turn, fwd drift has no advantage in racing. just something
to do when im bored, its just style in the sense, no brainer

In evry thing of the life, there's different ways to do the same.
Some people want to control the car while drifting.
Some people want to do the lowest time in a lap.
Some people want to have fun and enjoy drifting ( THAT'S ME!!!)
Other people want a challenge between him/her and the car.

So as I see above, you can do a four-wheel drift.
You can go complete sideways.
You can do very long drifts.

As I said in other thread, each person has his own way to drift and his own "tastes" in settings (tyres, LSD...)

So enjoy drifting and thanks to all people in this thread who helped me.

See the vid and see if its slow.... with skill you can be fast with sim tires. If you need soft tires to drift fast, it means you suck

Just because you said that means you suck, in general as people (not in gt3). Having these totally biased opinions is so ignorant I just want yell; it's a travesty to the human race. You, night_drifter and akina both, are really starting bother me.

well thats right, different people have their different ways to play their games, i dont really care, but just dont try to say it all bad like no one can do it, if you can se it, then you can do it, like Takumi say's, "If he can turn his cars, i can do it as well, we're all human and a car is a car" i think i cant remember, hey TruenoAE86, dont get all tick off, we're not talking about you, im just talking to people who thinks they're all that, but anyways thats all, i just want to tell everyone to be fast you know, i want every that plays GT3 to be fast, because the faster the better challenge, but oh well i guess people do have their own way, so its all good alright!!!!!!!!!!
