G25 Accelerator problem

When I take my foot off the gas pedal there is still some revs. In standard car view there is a guage for brake and accelerator. On screen there is about 2mm of gas pedal applied when my foot is off it. To get it back to zero i have to pull back the gas pedal ever so slightly manually. I don't know if this is an electrical fault or something to do with the spring inside the pedal being worn and not able to (push) the pedal back to it's original position.
I haven't noticed this before now and was wondering if this can be fixed by myself somehow?
Any ideas? Thanks.

Update: I have swapped the clutch pedal with the accelerator. Keeping in the respective springs for each pedal. OMG:drool:OMG:drool:OMG:drool:OMG:drool:(You get the idea)Now if the car is idling at 0mph the rev counter goes right down to zero. Like wise the gas pedal now shows 100% throttle applied where as before it was always just short around 97%-98%. So there was throttle when I didn't want it , and not enough when flat out. Now what an improvement. Took a Camaro SS '10 for a spin round trial Mountain in free run mode. Totaly responsive to every twitch of brake or throttle. Awsome:eek:
All this time I had the G25 pedals with PWTS not working at their true potential. GT5 just comes alive now even more so. Love it.
Hope this info helps anyone who might have a similar problem with pedals

I have this same issue with my standard PWTS pedals. My accelerator doesn't give me 100%. And as you now know, it make a huge difference. Just afraid to take them apart to see if can fix it.

Sorry to hear that Schmo. It really does make all the difference having pedals working 100%.
To think I might not have noticed the precise problems I was having if I used nothing but in car view:grumpy:
Unfortunately not getting 100% on accelerator is probably the worst hinderance all things considered , it's a racing game.
Good luck with finding a fix for your pedals
