i'm sorry if there is a thread on this, i did a search and all i could find was carbon fibre :dunce:
a friend has just bought need for speed carbon and it has the G25 listed as one of the compatable wheels...
does anyone know if the clutch and shifter work with it or is it the same as with GT4 ?
If there is already a thread on this that i have missed a link would be great, thanks.

yeah strangely enough, nfs carbon supports the clutch and shifter in h gate or sequential. :D
if you want to have some real fun with your g25, i suggest trying out the live for speed demo. and using the dfp settings i have posted in the lfs section of this forum. you'll probably need a higher force feedback setting with the g25 than i reccomend with the dfp.

yeah, you can use the clutch and h-shifter in nfs carbon. 900 degree wheel turn is also supported. basically everything that the g25 features, you can use in nfs carbon. you dont even need a mouse and a keyboard to browse through the menus. you can use the g25's buttons for that.

its pretty senseless to use the clutch and h-shift in the game though coz its not a simulation.

been playing nfs a bit but its fun is very arcadey fun. nothing beats a simulation.

thanks. i have to admit, i am not a huge fan of the newer NFS games (as i've posted a few times on other parts of this forum) but i really want to play with the clutch/H-gate :dopey: might try the live for speed demo and wait for my friend to get bored with carbon so i can borrow it.

Ehem, NFS:C does not support 900 degree steering, only the clutch and h-gate. I tried, unless I dont know how to change the steering setup. ANyway that is for PS2 atleast.
