Ok here's the deal, I'm 65 and don't know beans about what I'm doing. :-)

I have a G25 attached to my game computer to use with rFactor games.

All I did was unplugged the G25 from my computer and plugged it in to my PS3 and loaded gt5 prologue

and it worked fine.

So I loaded NFSCarbon and it won't work.

Can anyone tell me how to make this thing work???

Please if we're talking settings be specific cause, like I said, I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to this stuff.

Thanks

Hello mate. Is NFS carbon comparable with a wheel? Not all games are. Especially older titles.

Edit. Yes it does according to this.

Have you also got a controller/pad switched on? Maybe the game thinks your on the pad. Try starting your system without pad and boot up with wheel.

I think that's what you'll need to do.

Or once you are in the game, with both DS3 and wheel connected, press the PS button on the DS3, pick the reassign controllers option and put the DS3 to controller number 2.

I think the wheel has to be controller one for it to work in game, so you need to either reassign the controller to number 2, or remove it altogether.

I figured it would be something simple :-) I had both controllers plugged.
Thanks for the help guys, sorry to bother with dumb stuff. My wife calls it my "over 50" brain lol.

Thanks daan :-) I raced real world for many years, some things just don't get old :-) put my a$$ in a seat and a wheel in my hand and I'm happy!
