I have to tell someone, I'm bursting with smiles.
2 years ago I wanted a G25 and I found one on Ebay £75 + £6 shipping. That was the luckiest day of my sim racing life........until.........
This week I find on Ebay again, one G25 and 2 Xbox wheels for sale under faulty. £50 + £5 shipping, from a "cash provider" thing I think it was. I thought well, I'd like another set of pedals to have a play with and whatever bits I get too will come in handy for spares.
Today comes and the wheels arrive. I unpack the G25. Screws are in the bottom of the box and the wheel case is loose but as you know its hard to remove the cover unless you know what you're doing and I reinsert the screws.
On the box it says "faulty or no FFB". I thought well at least the pedals should be OK. The shifter too hopefully and I'll have another power pack.....wheres the power pack?
NO...It can't be that simple can it? OH YES IT WAS . Whoever sent in the wheel for sale had forgot to sent in the power pack. I plugged in my pack and it fired up and away I was.
Now all I have to do is get another power pack and I'll have a spare wheel. Anyone know if one from a Logitech GT3 wheel will be OK or will I have to get one from Ebay?
Well we'll see whats wrong with those Xbox ones soon............
