Searched and didnt find anything on the load sensor mod from apelectrix.com, only the nixim mod. I was wondering if anyone had installed it and if so will it still work with the PS3 with no problems?

Mine came before Christmas and I've been using it with my PS3 without a problem. To install properly with PS3, make sure the following..
* Red wire to GND
* White wire to SIG
* Black wire to +V
This is how I got mine hooked up.
After few days of use, I'm starting to get used to the load cell mod short travel distance. You can take out the rubber stopper thing if you want a bit more travel. Anyway, I don't think I can revert back to the original G25 brake pedal now. I strongly recommend other G25 to consider load cell mod.

I have the Perfect Pedal hydraulic conversion so can't speak much for load sensor, but if you scroll down to the bottom of page 6 on my cockpit thread you'll see that a member here has the apelectrix load sensor mod on his pedal.

Chilicoke, I wonder what's the difference between Perfect Pedal and AP Electrix brake mod? I mean what are their advantages and disadvantages? Why you picked Perfect Pedal instead of AP Electrix?
I chose AP Electix simply because of the good words I picked up from other forum.

Finally got the load sensor yesterday and I haven't had to much time to play around with it yet but from my short time yesterday on iRacing with it I did quite well with it. It didn't require a learning curve as much as I thought it would, in fact it felt normal to use. Getting it in wasn't easy seeing as some of the screws didn't want to come out but once I got the original springs out the thing went back together easily.
Though i was thinking of putting the brake spring in for the clutch spring has anyone done this? And does it give the clutch a better feel?

Just curious though, this is comparing to real road car pedal with vacuum assist, or actual non-assisted pedal?
The production car with vacuum assist produces much softer pedal with lots of "travel"...if you try to stop the car in neutral, with the engine off then you can feel how stiff the unassisted pedal is...

I don't have my pedals connected to a PC, just the PS3. I can tell you however that I see no 'spiking' in GT5. I use bumper-cam and the progressive braking indicator is always smooth.
Have you tried it with GT5 or just the Logitech Profiler?
Also, have you connected the wires correctly (including the earth wire)?
