Ok, so i just received my Playseats evolution and G25 gear shift holder today.
I spend a good hour assembling everything, including the gear shift add-on.... but there one BIG problem.
My G25's shifter does NOT fit into the freaking gear shift add-on! that stupid POS bottom piece (the bottom part sticking out that has a single screw clamp in the middle) is too big to put through the add-on's hole. Does anyone here have the same set-up? if so how did you manage to get the shifter on the gear shift holder add-on? If i could take off the bottom part of the G25's shifter I can easily use the two side clamps on the add-on but I can't get the thing off, i even unscrewed every nail i could.

you just have to unscrew that piece, it's 4 screws, you are probably missing the 2 screws that are recessed and a little hard to see.

Awesome.
I (and many others as well) have had the exact same issue when assembling it onto the Playseat. Those 2 "extra" screws, very well hidden, provide major frustration until they're found.

I just got my shifter bracket today. I want to clear things up about the screws. When you flip the unit over you will see the 2 visible screws at the rear of the extra extension in the middle of the 2 binders. To the left and right of those two visible scews, there are two screws that are DEEP down.

BE VERY CAREFUL to not strip any of these 4 screws. They are all in screwed in VERY tightly. So, take your time and be firm but gentle.
