Is the main power supply connected right? Sounds stupid but it happened to me. I didnt plug it in right and had the same problem you having. Took 30min to discover i didnt plug it in properly

Tell us how you have it set up. What wires are going where?

Does the wheel spin when you start the PS3 or GT5p? Is the USB plugged into the PS3?

Here's what I'll suggest, unplug your G25 completely, and any other controllers. Plug the G25 power, and the usb into the PS3 and start up the PS3 using the power button on the console itself. This assures that the G25 is now assigned to control port 1 (the wheel should spin itself lock-to-lock then back to centre). Use the G25 buttons to load up GT5P, the wheel should now go lock-to-lock again. Cycle through the various menus on Prologue and start a race, see what happens.

Report back when you've tried this.
