Hey all. I am indeed a n00b, and this is my first post, but I did have a couple quick questions on the G25 wheel.

1.) Does the H-shifter/clutch work with GT4?

2.) Has anybody had any major or significant problems happen that I should be aware of before I buy one?

3.) Is anybody willing to sell theirs? :D

And no, I'm not new to the Gran Turismo series, been playing since GT2, but stopped after GT4 and have recently come back and become hooked. TIA!

If by the H shifter you mean the Gated 6 speed shift. it works in GT5p but the clutch pedal has no function. The only problem with the gated shift is its six speed and some cars have 7 gears in GT5p I think some had seven in GT4 too but its a while since i played. This is the first wheel Ive ever owned so i cant compare it to others. One thing i do like is that the shifter isnt attached to the wheel. As im british i prefer the shifter on the left. The wheel is very robust. Im kind of a burly fellow and i havent managed to break any of it yet.
Back to the shifter the only thing i dont like is there is very little resistance in the shift stick. You do however get used to it. More so Ive become very fond of the flappy paddle shift and use that more often than not now. As for the wheel its well built and the only thing i dont like about it is that its 900 deg rotation. Taking this though most gaming wheels seem to be 900 deg. Its just very hard to drive some of the faster cars around the tighter corners.

The clutch functions, you just have to turn it on for each race. Press whatever button you have mapped to "reverse" once the race starts and it will activate the clutch.

Also, there are no cars that have more than 6 forward gears and use a gated shifter. Any car in the game that has 7 gears uses a sequential shifter.
