Hi, I recently just did a resistance mod and when I opened it up the first time, I've noticed that the spring had snapped so I stuck something in there and used the longer of the snapped spring. When I tested the wheel out after, I noticed that my neutral became gear 3 and my paddle shifter didn't work properly. Any suggestions? Would I have to buy a new shifter if that is even possible?

It is nothing to do with Spring.. with or without it it should not do that.. maybe your connections are reviersed? make sure each one is fitted perfectly with each other.

They won't get pissed, it's your money, you do with it what you wish. If you explain you wanted better resistance, and somehow mess up, and that you wanna buy new shifter from them, they might give you a discount if you send it the old one... If the accept. But never hurts to write it. Good luck!
As far as I know, VIPERGTSR01 is right -- when my shifter failed, I had it replaced under warranty, and they sent me an entire unit. I don't think the pedals and wheel are worth worrying about, but at least I have replacements if anything goes wrong.
