G27 Death wobble problem

So I've got a G27 and the NFS:Shift demo (don't own any racing games right now...). I've been trying to practice some so that when GT5 gets here I'll be better with the wheel.

I'm playing on Pro settings with all the aids turned off. When I drive down a straight at high speed under throttle the car starts fishtailing violently.

At first I thought I was just overcorrecting, but then I realized it does it without me touching the wheel. If I just drive down a straight at speed without touching the wheel it will start sawing back and forth. It grows in magnitude and eventually just spins itself out. I can watch the wheel (the real one, and the in game one) sawing back and forth rapidly.

I have damage turned off, so it's not a messed up car. Why is it not going straight?

This is a deadzone issue I believe, try and add some deadzone in the game settings. I think 5-10% should be plenty

yep, that did it. I bumped it up to 5%.
