g27 noise!

got a g27 raced for about 3 hours on dirt 2.
now I've got a clacking noise when it gets really rough or over curbs in F1.
opened it up and cant find what the probleme is
and it not made like the one i saw on the internet tearh down
mine dont have the spring in the middle of the big eliptical gear
mine is a solide one piece gear.
anyone else got that clacking sound?
do I have a second generation g27?
the sound seems to be coming for the motor shaft when it move back an forward

How's it progressing? Have you found the cause?

I read similar stories of other G27s, and they bit the dust eventually

I do believe it is the same (I can not hear yours, but my partner complains about clacking) with my G25 when I take the F1 on Daytona. Never played anything but GT5P or GT Academy demo with it.

It seems to be coming from the motor shaft
when it slides back and foward.
they got spring bushing to stop the movement from one direction but there nothing to stop the movement toward the motor.
if my g27 had the spring in the steering gear (the big eleptic gear) that takes of the slack out of the motor gears and the steering gear maybe the sound would be lessened
but mine is a solide one piece steering gear not a split two gear spring systeme.
like i say wounder if there are 2 models or is it a clone?
the only thing it can break is the motor bearing
they get the pounding
do they sell replacement motor for that steering wheel?

kept on reading and found that the sound is realy caused by the motor shaft
and I should get use to it
it wont damage the motors
it does that when it the ffb move fast and hard from side to side
when it tries to imatate vibration on the track the motor shafts move back and forth producting the clacking noise when the shaft hits the end of its movement (1mm)
will let you guys know if it gets worse or breaks something
but still cant find why my model is different (solid elico gear)
any info would be appreciated
