G27 + PS5 + CronusMax+ = Possible?

Just got my shiny new PS5 and was hoping to use my old G27 wheel with it, with the help of my existing CronuxMaxPlus dongle from PS4 days. But after an hour of fiddling, it doesn't seem to work. Maybe there's a CronuxMax firmware update that adds PS5 support? Apparently not.

The official Cronus site wants to sell me either a Zen or a DriveHub -- both of which are out of stock. And even then, the Zen apparently requires a ZenLink to go with it, so I'm looking at $160 in new dongles to make this work. For that money, I could almost buy a new wheel. There's also something called the Brook Ras1ution 2 for about $105 that claims to do the job.

Is there another alternative? Something obvious I'm overlooking?

Been many years since I went from CM+ to DH, which allowed me to run my old Fanatec CSW 2.0, so memory’s foggy on how PS compatability is done w that but PS4 native stuff doesn’t work w the PS5 directly I think. My PS4 Hori wired controller isn’t supported

For a DH you would also need a Hori miny controller to provide security chip so add that in - the Zen looked a bit more complicated to work w than the DH

So yeah probably worth putting that money towards a new PS compatable wheel - DH works for those looking to mix & match or have an existing rig they love - me I went DD and find it huge improvement over the older bases
