G27 with Cronusmax Pro jumps into Neutral

So I haven't experienced this problem until recently, so I'm not sure if it is the wheel/shifter acting up, or something in the game but I use the paddle shifters in manual and every once in a while it jumps into neutral, and it's caused more than a few incidents in Sport races, and it seems to be happening pretty regularly now. Has anybody else experienced this, or know of a solution?

neutral should only happen if you touch the H box or clutch.
1) If its the shifter acting up set it into sequential mode so it cant slip.
2) check your not touching the clutch as you brake.
3) check connection under the wheel
4) update cronus firmware and reset it into wheel mode again
