So i plugged in my g29 today and im having issues with the feedback on the wheel, kurbs and understeer are non existant on all ffb settings while oversteer is not to bad coming from project cars and assetto it feels very strange

Is there anything else i can try or is it suppose to be this way with gt sport and this wheel combo

Times with wheel
Daily race b 52.4
Daily race a 2.05.0

Times with controller
Daily race b 52.2
Daily race a 2.04.9

The G29 is not what you would call optimised on GTS. It's very weak but just about get the job done in terms of over and understeer feeel. Don't hope for much else.

What settings are you using and was the wheel plugged in before you started GTS?
Yeah it was plugged in before also tried restarting and unplugging for the settings i tried every combo even at 10/10 while the wheel feels heavier theres no feeling to the weight and tyres of the car

Ok i guess its just very dissapointing where in pc2 and assetto even the f1 games i can feel the kurbs and tyres and on this it feels very dead if that makes sense

Don't use rest mode when you're using a wheel as it messes the feedback up. Do a fresh boot or a restart on the console instead then give 2-10 a try. 2 will reduce the clipping to the minimum and 10 will help you feel the weight shifts while you dial yourself in on the physics. You'll be able to dial down some of the sensitivity once you've got used to it.

First and foremost, the G29 is not very strong in GTS compared to other games.

Do you by chance have a DS4 turned on and logged in while you play with a wheel?

I do this often, and sometimes the steering gets lighter than usual, and I also feel a lot less of the different track surfaces. If I turn off the ds4 and restart GTS it usually goes back to normal.

💡:odd: Interesting, I’ll have to remember this! Thank you sir!

Ok i currently have it 3/9 and it does feel better but it could just be me getting use it now.

managed to match my time in daily race b 52.296 on wheel and 52.285 on controller with about 1 hour of trying

Good to hear.👍

The Thrustmaster wheels have been known to break with rest mode so it's worth keeping in mind if you switch to one.

Always do a console reboot rather than cycling the USB connection. Better safe than sorry.
