As my DFGT is getting a bit old and rattly(as well as not being ps4 compatible)I'm looking to buy a G29 as a replacement.I am currently using the excellent Wheelstand Pro for DFGT,and don't want to splash out on buying a new stand just because of the extra width on the pedal base,so I was wondering if anyone out there has modded the stand or has any ideas on how it could be done to accommodate the larger pedal base ? I have a few ideas myself, but would be interested in seeing or hearing about any other mods/fixes you guys have come up with.
Any suggestions gratefully taken on board,cheeers...

As far as I can see Wheelstand Pro is compatible with G29:

@super_gt cheers for the reply, but that's actually a different stand-the dfgt stand has 2 metal strips running above and below the pedal base to secure it in place. The G29 pedal base(which is wider than the dfgt due to the extra clutch pedal) is screwed into place through the actual frame of the stand-the dfgt frame does not have these holes drilled to allow the G29 pedal base to screwed in place,i've also got the feeling that the G29 wheelstand frame is wider than the dfgt, although I could well be wrong on this.
Thanks again for the reply 👍

Sorry my mistake :)
I found a picture that shows how the pedals are attached to the frame,I hope this will help 👍

Sir,you are a star ,thats exactly the kind of solution I've been looking for-i'd assumed the frame was drilled to allow the base to be bolted on,but this looks a much simpler solution,a and even if the cross piece is not supplied with the wheel it shouldn't be too difficult to knock together a replacement.
It's looking like I have the rest of the week off work(not through choice unfortunately)so a trip to pick up a new wheel may well be on for tomorrow :)...

Well I picked up a G29 this morning, and oh man did I under estimate the size of the pedal base-compared to the dfgt it's mahooosive
After a bit of head scratching, some humming and arrring I finally managed to bodge something together using the 2 clamp bars from the dfgt and some shorter bolts-it not pretty, but for the time being its holding in place...

As for the wheel itself, its fantastic after the dfgt, its quiet, smooth, accurate, the pedals are awesome especially the brake, very difficult to lock the brakes even when running 0 abs-the only complaint is that I keep catching the side of my foot on the clutch pedal when braking, something that I reckon will cease to be a problem with a bit more use and fitting the base properly.
