Just went from SR B to E in two races! First got bumped out and received 10sec plus demotion to SR C. Then started a race to realize the game is a joke in SR C, quit the race after half a lap, and now I have SR E. WTF PDI?!

Just about ready to dump GTS with such over reacting SR system - and I consider my self a fan..

Well in 5 races I went from s to a, 1 race to get it back

Then on one race I was first, pole, fl, and had a shortcut penalty that I burned off and got a red s

Green SR arrow good, orange SR arrow bad.

You quit immediately after bad SR arrow, that bad. You quit before more green SR arrow come. That bad. Must stay and get manys green SR arrows coming.

Goodbye, friend.

But E is quite a big hit. Dropped from S to A last time I tried quitting.
Maybe the number of laps/sectors not being on track impacts the hit to SR ? OP said he only turned half a lap. But i am just guessing here havent quite a race yet myself.

SR might be just calculated on a rolling period of X amount of races. His dropped dramatically because he had a bunch of negative hits on the SR, and then didn't bother finishing the events to get the positive effect of many green +'s to even everything out.

This rolling period would make sense

All these posts about the SR are wrong - it's not too easy to lose SR, it's too easy to get your SR back to S and too easy to keep it there.

Let's see what PD do but I think if they can't get this "intelligent" SR system working they may as well just go iRacing style and penalize everyone in an incident to make it more difficult to get and retain S.

I think SR is just too sensitive. Should be more longer period calculated.

I started the "livid" thread not to long ago lol. I was in your shoes man even worse at one point... Honestly I grinded out a few races in the back of the pack I didn't qualify on purpose so I'd start near the back only passing the cars I knew I could blow away in lap times to get clean races. I'm a DR B again after having to climb back up from D. And my SR is at S now which I was at a D as well... I had back to back races that bumped me from B-B to D-D. Now I'm B-S. It was a grind but we'll worth it. Just take some time aside maybe like 7-8 races and just work on clean laps and bump it to S until you get there to get solid races

Agreed, but:

they may as well just go iRacing style and penalize everyone in an incident to make it more difficult to get and retain S.

I thought that is what happens already (it's the concept that people have been endlessly complaining about anyway), and it's just that the SR penalties aren't that strong.
