Game crashes really often

My game has been crashing very often, even after completely re-initialising the PS4.

Every time it happens I fear I will open up the game to a de-bug menu, or all my cars/replays lost etc. like it has been happening with many others.

Is there anything I can do to prevent this happening?

I've been experiencing an increased number of these lately too, mostly after warm up but they can strike at any time it seems. Never used to be so many problems before, must be network related I feel.

I agree, many more blue screen error code crashes, mostly after race warm up before the grid sets when trying to race Sport races than what there used to be.

The more the consoles try to mimic the PC and how content is handled with requiring online, DLC and so forth the more the console starts to share the same traits with them and the plug and play aspect without those problems is left behind.

I will say though out of the PS4 games I own and play the only one that repeatedly has the crashing problem is GTS and I do have other titles which use online servers and connectivity.

What is worse is that it causes great DR losses. You can lose easy 1500-2000 DR points (Maybe even more) for a disconnect/error. I believe i could have been close to 75K cap without these issues.

My last race day i did 2 races, got 4th and a disconnect and lost 2200 DR.

Try rebuilding your PS4 database.

I re-initialised the PS4 to scratch and re-installed the game, even tried on a different account.

@Tou2istTrophy you can always backup your save data to either a USB drive or cloud. Just to be sure.

Entered a race the other, matching gave me pole and then got the blue screen

You can check your error history on PS4 in settings. Let's just say it was frightening how far I had to scroll down!

I lost 3000 DR from 2 disconnects last weekend.
