Game speed drop when in cockpit view

I think the title says it all. There is a drop in game speed, not fps, but the ctual speed the game is running whenever I use cockpit view. It happens at random times and it can get quite annoying. So, is there any way to solve this problem? Will installing the game data cease this? Do you have this problem as well?

I see no noticeable difference, try installing it. (It will make it load faster as well)

I was already installing it, it's almost done now. I'll go again after installing and keep you posted on the changes, if there are any.

I have it installed, and i feel like the cockpit view makes it seem FASTER...

The cockpit view does give an increase in the sense of speed as it drops the aspect ratio of the screen. But I can't say I've ever seen a drop in game speed when in that view. But then I do have mine installed.

Although the fact that you're using different cams shouldn't be affected by read/write speeds, thus making this bug illogical.

can you tell us which car and which track and which corner your trying to do?...

Well, it happens to me in all cars on all tracks at random times, like on the straights mostly. I noticed that the car's acceleration rate slows in the cockpit view, and so does the race time.

On time trail also? Or only when racing against the AI?

also can i enquire, do you smoke a green substance while you race?...

I haven't used time trial yet, I know, pretty weird. I'm saving days, I want to have all the cars I want before I can start to do some time trials. It only happens when I race the AI then. And no, I don't smoke anything, or get second hand smoke from anywhere, except for whenever I make burgers.

I never get speed drops when using cockpit view, but sometimes the game lags right after I cross the finish line.
