They have a shipping date set at 5/3/2010, could they really have the release date already?

Probably a failsafe date. They probably don't think it will be released after that, so instead of moving it back all the time, they'll keep it there until they know a definitive date.

Amazon.co.uk have done simular things with GTmobile the past few years. I'm sure it's a failsafe date too.

No.

It could be the release date - it is, after all, a date which is in the future. But if it is, it'll be a fluke and not because of inside information.


Have a look at any game we don't know the release date of but which you can preorder. MAG? Play.com say 27th November - there's no official release date. Agent? Play.com say 29th January - there's no official release date.

If you can preorder it, they'll give you an approximate date. It's NOT going to be the real, confirmed one.
