Gamepad Settings Required

Can anyone recommend settings for a gamepad? I find the steering way too sensitive. I've tried adjusting it myself, in game, but I can't seem to get it right and before anybody says anything, yes I know I should really use a wheel but I prefer using a gamepad. Weirdo :crazy:

I'm also looking to get some info on DS3 settings. I won't be able to play with a wheel that often so the DS3 is my only way to get some serious play time. If I'm trueful I played one stage on the DS3 before turning he game off till I had more time. I will post what ever I find tomorrow.
 
Or at least a way to turn vibration on....I try to select it in options and it skips it....is this just with wheels or am I just being a gumby?

But I do agree with the steering input being a bit too quick in the first challenge
 
I mapped steering to the left stick and throttle and brake to the right stick. Handbrake on R1. Works pretty good.
 
That's the same mapping I use (for gt5 too).

I just did the missions in the gymkhana compound for about 30 minutes and it started to feel much better.
 
The S2000 cars are indeed very sensitive, I got used to it eventually...
Only buttons I changed were:
Triangle = Change View
Circle = Flashback
Square = Handbrake
 
I have tried to play with the pad but come unstuck. I've even tried to loosen the diff but this only had a nominal effect. Looks like I will have to stick to the wheel when I can.
