GameShark won't connect to Network.

I just got a new PS2 slim last week and of course wasted no time hooking it up to my DSL. Luckily my GameShark arrived the next day in the mail, so I started to configure it to to access the MadCatz Network. The problem is that it won't log in. I know I can mke it to the internet with my PS2 because I have accessed online before with TOCA, Just everytime I go to update my GS2 it says Bad Login, then Skipped Network for the rest of the triesafter the failed log in. I have all the codes entered for the IP address and****e like Thite. Anyone else ever have this problem and ifso How did you correct it ?```````````

hrm well I dont have a gameshark but without knowing theres a few things that come to mind:

1) if your login and password are associated with your disc then it may be that your login hasnt been processed/"confirmed" yet - unlikely
2) MadCatz network may be having issues with their Authentication servers
3) someone may already have your userID and the madcatz network doesnt report that name is in use

hope that helps... and check out my new hybrid's gamesave (with 20 cars) all realistic swaps that have either already been done or are possible (no V12's in compact cars etc)and I doubt that you will find any of them "slow" EDIT: ASIDE FROM THE H22 CIVIC LOL

I'll check into your suggestions, thanks. Also I'll try and check out your game save a bit later. This old laptop has such little RAM I can't even have my Anti Virus installed or it bogs the compuetr down! My self absorbed 18 year old daughter went to a site I told her not to andgot my desktop PC sick about a month ago.It is a boot sector virus bad enough I couldn't even format the HD. I just by the grace of the fates was able to get to load windows today after a month of telling me the operating system is missing. It finally loaded windows and I am currently running a Virus scan. As soon as I have it up and going again I'll check your save out along with a few other things I've wanted to do but hadn't had the power to do so!
