Garage sectioning/categorization

One thing that I believe would make GT5 better than GT4 is the ability to make different sections/categories and sub-sections/categories in your Garage.

I'm a man of organization and hate when things are jumbled together. I'd love to have different 'folders' on my garage for drifting cars, JGTC/Touring, modified street cars, etc. For example, I have two Infiniti G35 coupes. Both are red, both have same wheels, similar ride height, power and weight. I hate have to chose one, go back to the Home main page and check which car I have based on its suspension settings. 50% chance it isn't the one I want!

Also, my roommate and I share a profile and each have made/won different vehicles. It sometimes becomes difficult to distinguish which vehicle is who's. We've gotten into a couple arguments over this very subject.

My .02 :)

That's a good idea, actually. Similar to the way GT4 can limit cars by region or manufacturer, but giving you more options, like separating between race/tuned/stock vehicles, or letting you create customized folders.

I still like the idea of a virtual garage, though, that other people have mentioned.. where you can literally walk around a big garage and see all of your cars sitting there. With the "folders" being different rooms you can walk into.

You know, there was once a game for the old Playstation where you could do something almost like this. The game was called "Peak Performance". When choosing your car, you would first choose a class and then the menu would change to the door of a garage and open. Then you could see the inside of the garage and in the menu was a list of the cars you could choose. The camera would always fly to the car you selected in the menu. Maybe it could be done similarly?

Buy your room mate his own memory card for his birthday.👍

Yes please, more options for the garage PD.
