I have just gone through the entire 32 pages of the FEATURES suggestions section, and i found this thread, along with the following three threads
to be the most close to what i would like to request from Kaz and PD:

WHY CANT WE LOOK AT all of our cars a bit closer without having to select them???
Let say i am currently driving the Mclaren F1.... But i want to admire my Citroen 2CV....
I should not have to click on it to see.
I should be able to "walk" through my garage of hundends of cars without having to click to see in it.
I should be able to have the Mclaren F1 waiting for me idle outside ready for me to hop in anytime for race, while i enjoy looking at a set of cars in my garage.... I dont have to start them ( since the Mclaren is already running "outside").
Currently its is very hard to see the cars i have.. They are in each of their own tiny little rows....
We should have at least the option to change the display like we had in GT5...
That should be the minimum.
If PD or Kaz are reading this, please give us more options to do in our garages....

We should be able to place our cars however we want in our garages...
We should be able to give them nicknames.... We should be able to have different rooms for each category of cars, beyond the existing labels and categories of sorting, we should be able ro categorize our cars however we want....
